Where possible, we love repurposing wood and giving new (kinky) lives to items destined for landfil, all with a beeswax finish.
We can't always identify the wood being used, so will use our best guess where we can, and we believe this to be a nut-tree wood (such as chestnut).
The laced paddles are more than just pretty: The rope disperses the initial impact, allowing a much deeper and thuddy feeling over a paddle of the same weight.The off-centre handle found on most R+R toys allows both the flat side to be used for a dispersing sting, or the thin edge to be used for a precise deep tissue thud.
