Sitting somewhere between paddle and cane, slapsticks offer the sting of a cane, with the dispersion of a paddle.
The off-centre handle found on most R+R toys allows both the flat side to be used for a dispersing sting, or the thin edge to be used for a precise deep tissue thud.

Made from a variety of woods, we can't always identify the wood being used, so will use our best guess where we can. Currently we know we have beech, and we believe the other to be a nut-tree wood (such as chestnut).
